SLB社及びNorthern Lights Joint Venture社は今日（11日）、越境CCSの最初のCO₂輸送・貯留プロバイダーの1つであるNorthern Lights社における操業の統合されたクラウド・ベースのワークフローを最適化するため、Microsoft社と覚書を締結したことを発表した。

協力の初期段階において、SLB社は、同社のデジタルCCSワークフロー及び数値シミュレーション・システムをDelfi™デジタル・プラットフォーム上に拡張する。

Microsoft社は、Northern Lights社の事業及びSLB社デジタルCCSワークフローをサポートする拡張可能なクラウド・サービスを確保するため、Microsoft Azureプラットフォームを設置し、拡張する。

SLB and Northern Lights Joint Venture announced today they have signed a memorandum of understanding with Microsoft to optimize integrated cloud-based workflows for the operation of Northern Lights, one of the first CO₂ transport and storage providers for cross-border CCS.

In the initial phases of the collaboration, SLB will extend its digital CCS workflows and numerical simulation systems on its Delfi™ digital platform.

Microsoft will deploy and extend its Microsoft Azure platform to ensure scalable cloud services that support Northern Lights’ business and the SLB digital CCS workflows.
