経済産業省は、CCSの事業化に向け、モデル事業として国内外の7か所を選出したと、読売新聞が報じた。政府はCCSのビジネスモデルの確立を目指しており、2023年度から上記事業に必要な支援を提供していくこととなる。
7 sites selected for carbon capture, storage subsidies

The Economy, Trade and Industry Ministry has selected seven sites in Japan and abroad for model projects to commercialize CCS, The Yomiuri Shimbun has learned. The government, which is seeking to establish a business model for CCS, will provide necessary support to the projects starting in fiscal 2023.
