ADNOC社、画期的なCO₂圧入プロジェクトのマイルストーンを発表

今年1月に発表されたCO₂圧入井プロジェクトは、ADNOC社のAl Reyadah CO₂回収施設での経験に基づくものである。対象となる地層だけでなくCO₂圧入井の位置も、ADNOC社の広範な3D地震調査の結果と、同社の最先端地下モデリング能力を用いて特定された。

このプロジェクトは、低炭素アンモニアの製造に貢献することとなる。

ADNOC announces milestone for landmark CO₂ injection project

The CO₂ injection well project, which was announced in January this year, builds on ADNOCs experience with its carbon capture facility at Al Reyadah. The well location for CO₂ injection as well as targeted geological formations were identified using the results of ADNOCs extensive 3D seismic survey and the companys state-of-the-art subsurface modelling capacity.

The project will contribute to the production of lower-carbon ammonia.
