TotalEnergies社は、Lunaプロジェクトとして知られるCO₂貯留探査ライセンスExL004においてCapeOmega社が保有する40％の参加権益を取得する契約をCapeOmega Carbon Storage社と締結した。

ノルウェー・ベルゲン（Bergen）沖120km、水深200mに位置するExL004は、TotalEnergies社が33％の権益を保有するNorthern Lights CO₂貯留プロジェクトのライセンスに隣接している。

ExL004はWintershall DEA Norge社が60％の参加権益を保有し、運営している。

TotalEnergies acquires 40% interest in Norway CO₂ storage exploration license

TotalEnergies has signed an agreement with CapeOmega Carbon Storage AS to acquire the 40% participating interest held by CapeOmega in the CO₂ storage exploration license ExL004, known as the Luna project.

Located 120 km offshore Bergen in 200m water depth, ExL004 is adjacent to the license where the Northern Lights CO₂ storage project, in which TotalEnergies has a 33% stake.

ExL004 is operated by Wintershall DEA Norge AS with a 60% participating interest.
