覚書（MoU）の下、上記パートナー企業は、インドネシアのガス発電所の脱炭素化を目的としたCCUSバリューチェーン及び共同ソリューションを開発するため、実現可能性調査を共同で実施する。

覚書は、インドネシア・ジャカルタにあるムリア・ホテル（Mulia Hotel）にて9月11－12日に開催された第1回国際・インドネシアCCSフォーラム2023（International & Indonesia CCS Forum 2023）で締結された。

この合意の下、PLN Nusantara社、Jawa 1社、CARBONCO社、bp社及びGE Vernova社は、ガス火力発電所におけるCO₂回収技術の実施から、CO₂の輸出入ターミナルへの輸送や、インドネシア西パプア州ビントゥニ湾（Teluk Bintuni）にあるタングー（Tangguh）ガス田における回収済みCO₂の貯留まで、CCUSバリューチェーン全体に取り組むために協力する。

Under an MoU the partners will jointly carry out a feasibility study to develop a CCUS value chain and joint solutions to decarbonise gas power plants in Indonesia.

The MoU was signed at the 1st International & Indonesia CCS Forum 2023 which takes place from 11-12 September at Mulia Hotel, Jakarta.

Under the agreement, PLN Nusantara, Jawa 1, CARBONCO, bp and GE Vernova will collaborate to address the entire CCUS value chain, from the implementation of carbon capture technology in gas-fired power plants to the transportation of CO₂ to import and export terminals as well as the sequestration of captured CO₂ at the Tangguh field in Teluk Bintuni, Papua Barat, Indonesia.
