Carbon Clean社は、次世代CO2回収技術の開発を加速させるため、インド・ナビムンバイ（Navi Mumbai）に新しい主要な研究ハブを設立した。広さ77,000平方フィートにも及ぶグローバル革新センター（Global Innovation Centre：GIC）は、現在CO2回収に特化した施設では世界最大級であり、2つの操業可能な装置と、試験及び吸収液開発向けの先端実験室を備えている。
グローバル革新センターは、Carbon Clean社の世界的な成長を支援することになり、技術革新ハブとして100人以上の専門家を抱え、将来的には350人まで拡大する計画である。
この施設は、排出削減が困難な産業向けに設計されたコンパクトなモジュール式ソリューションである同社のCycloneCCシステムの規模拡大において中心的な役割を担うことになる。
貿易・英国輸出（Trade and UK Export）の南アジア担当副部長（Deputy Director for South Asia）であるAjita Hathlia氏が執り行った開設式には、主要な投資家、パートナー及び役員が集まった。
GICは、既にBHP社、JSW社、NTPC社及びTata Steel社と共にパイロットを実施しているCarbon Clean社のインドにおける存在感を強化するものである。
Carbon Clean Opens Global Innovation Centre To Accelerate Carbon Capture In India

Carbon Clean has launched a major new research hub in Navi Mumbai, India, to fast-track the development of next-generation carbon capture technologies. The Global Innovation Centre (GIC), spanning over 77,000 square feet, is now one of the world’s largest facilities dedicated to carbon capture, featuring two operational units and advanced labs for testing and solvent development.
The Global Innovation Centre will support Carbon Clean ’s global growth and act as a hub for innovation, housing more than 100 specialists with plans to expand to 350.
It will play a central role in scaling up the company’s CycloneCC system—a compact, modular solution designed for hard-to-abate industries.
Inaugurated by Ajita Hathlia, Deputy Director of Trade and UK Exports for South Asia, the opening drew key investors, partners, and board members.
The GIC strengthens Carbon Clean’s presence in India, where it’s already running pilots with BHP, JSW, NTPC, and Tata Steel.
