BP Berau Ltd （BP）社は今日（22日）、インドネシア・タングー（Tangguh）における天然ガスの可能性及びCO₂圧入、並びにインドネシア西パプア州ビントゥニ湾（Teluk Bintuni）におけるブルーアンモニア開発の可能性に関するPertamina社の調査への協力に関する覚書（MoU）をPertamina社の子会社と締結した。

インドネシア・バリ州ヌサドゥア（Nusa Dua）で2023年9月20-22日に開催された2023インドネシア石油・ガスフォーラム（2023 Indonesia Oil & Gas Forum: IOG）で締結されたもので、Pertamina社が実施する同調査は、特に西パプア州の石油化学産業の成長を支援し、地域経済の活性化に貢献することを目的としている。

BP Berau Ltd (BP), today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a subsidiary of Pertamina, for collaboration on Pertamina’s study of natural gas potential and CO₂ injection in Tangguh and the potential development of blue ammonia in Teluk Bintuni, West Papua.

Signed at the 2023 Indonesia Oil & Gas Forum (IOG), which was held from September 20-22, 2023, in Nusa Dua, Bali, the study conducted by Pertamina aims to support growth in the petrochemical industry, particularly in West Papua, to help boost the local economy.
