2024年豪州・東南アジアCCSフォーラム（2024 Australia and Southeast Asia Forum）において、川崎汽船株式会社常務執行役員の金森聡氏が登壇し、同社のCCS事業開発への取り組みについて紹介した。
同氏はフォーラムにおいて、川崎汽船が取り組む低温低圧での液化CO2輸送の技術開発に関する課題、同社がアジア太平洋地域におけるCCSバリューチェーン構築のために顧客やコンソーシアムメンバーと共に実施している実現可能性調査、及びノルウェーで実施されている世界初のフルバリューチェーンCCS案件であるNorthern Lightsプロジェクトにおける同社の活動を紹介した。

Satoshi Kanamori (Managing Executive Officer of “K” LINE) took the stage at the 2024 Australia and Southeast Asia Forum on CCS to present “K” LINE’s initiatives regarding CCS business development.
At the Forum, he presented the “K” LINE’s challenges on the technical development of liquified CO2 transportation in low-pressure conditions, the feasibility studies “K” LINE are implementing together with their customers and consortium members for the establishment of the CCS value chain in the Asia Pacific region, and their activities in the Northern Lights project, the world’s first full value chain CCS Project in Norway.
