Join the institute in collaboration with PTECO2 and Carboncause on November 15 in Cartagena (Murcia), Spain for The CCS Forum Spain 2024, entitled "Roadmap for CCS in Spain", which will be held at the Isaac Peral Hall of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena. The first forum of its kind in Spain to address a key issue for the energy transition and the fight against climate change: carbon capture and storage (CCS).
During the event, experts, academics, and industry representatives will explore the opportunities and challenges presented by the development of CCS in Spain, a sector with great potential to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions, aligning with national and European climate objectives. The roadmap needed to effectively implement this technology in the country will be discussed, as well as the role of infrastructure, energy policies, and technological innovations that will be essential for its advancement.
The forum promises to be a space for exchanging knowledge and experiences that will contribute to the design of strategies to boost the CCS industry in Spain, with the participation of key players from the public and private sectors.
