Matheson社、1PointFive社DACプラント向け酸素供給契約を締結

日本酸素ホールディングス株式会社（以下、NSHD社）は、NSHD社の米国事業会社であるMatheson Tri-Gas社が、米国テキサス州の直接空気回収（DAC）プラントに酸素を供給するため、1PointFive社とガス供給契約を締結したことを、ここに発表した。

Matheson社は、テキサス州エクター（Ector）郡で建設中の1PointFive社DACプラント「Stratos」向けに酸素を供給するため、空気分離装置（Air Separation Unit）に投資し、その設置を行う。酸素は、純粋なCO₂流を生成するためにDACプロセスで使用され、生成されたCO₂流はその後、地中貯留層に安全に貯留される。

Matheson Signs Oxygen Supply Contract for 1PointFive’s DAC Plant

Nippon Sanso Holdings Corporation (“NSHD”) hereby announces that Matheson Tri-Gas, Inc., NSHD’s U.S. operating company entered into a gas supply agreement with 1PointFive to provide oxygen for the Direct Air Capture (DAC) plant in Texas.

Matheson will invest in and establish an Air Separation Unit to supply Oxygen to “Stratos”, 1PointFive’s DAC plant under construction in Ector County, Texas. The Oxygen is used in the DAC process to produce a pure stream of CO₂ which is then securely sequestered in geologic reservoirs.
