BASF社及びANDRITZグループは、デンマーク・オーフス（Aarhus）における大規模CO₂回収プロジェクトでBASF社のOASE®ブルーガス処理技術を利用するライセンス契約を締結した。

このイニシアティブは、地元の廃棄物発電所から年間約43万5,000トンのCO₂を回収することを目指しており、2030年までに炭素中立になるという同市の目標に向けた重要な一歩となる。

CO₂回収プラントの供給業者として選定されたANDRITZ社は、現在事前の工学設計作業を実施している。完全な実施は、全国の大規模脱炭素化プロジェクトを支援するデンマークCCS基金（Danish CCS Fund）の資金承認に左右される。

BASF SE and the ANDRITZ Group have signed a licensing agreement for the use of BASF’s OASE® blue gas treatment technology in a major carbon capture project in Aarhus, Denmark.

The initiative aims to capture around 435,000 tons of CO₂ per year from a local waste-to-energy facility, marking a significant step toward the city’s target of becoming carbon-neutral by 2030.

As the selected supplier for the carbon capture plant, ANDRITZ is currently conducting pre-engineering work. Full implementation will depend on funding approval from the Danish CCS Fund, which supports large-scale decarbonization projects across the country.
