上記2社は、エタノールからの持続可能な航空燃料（SAF）製造、様々なCO₂排出源からのグリーンメタノール製造、及びグリーン水素の製造に関する技術経済的実現可能性を評価する。

Honeywell and AM Green collaborate on CCS and aviation fuel in India

They will assess the techno-economic feasibility of producing sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) from ethanol, green methanol from various carbon dioxide emission sources, and green hydrogen.

The companies signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) during India Energy Week 2025. The feasibility study is expected to conclude by mid-2025.

They will work together to identify opportunities to enhance India’s energy security and:

• Reduce crude oil import dependence.
• Help position the country as a competitive global exporter of green methanol to aid shipping companies in adopting this low-emission alternative fuel.
• Help airlines in meeting CORSIA mandates for low-carbon, drop-in fuel replacements.
