SLB社は、SLB Capturi社がAker Solutions社と共同で、ノルウェー・オスロ市クレメツルード（Klemetsrud）にあるHafslund Celsio社廃棄物発電施設にCO2回収ソリューションを提供するため、Hafslund Celsio社から設計・調達・建設・設置・試運転（EPCIC）契約を受注したと発表した。
リリースによると、Hafslund Celsio社はノルウェー最大の地域暖房供給事業者であると共に、同国最大の廃棄物発電所の所有者兼オペレーターでもあるという。Hafslund Celsio社のCO2回収プロジェクトは、ノルウェー政府のフル・バリューチェーンCCSプロジェクトであるLongshipの一部である。
この契約には、廃棄物焼却サイトにおいてCO2回収プラント、液化システム、一時的な貯留設備及び積み込み施設を納入することが含まれる。また、オスロ港における中間CO2貯留設備及び船積みシステムも含まれており、CO2はそこからノルウェー大陸棚にあるNorthern Lightsの恒久的貯留施設に輸送されることになる。操業が開始されれば、CO2回収プラントは年間35万トンのCO2を回収することが見込まれている。
SLB Capturi and Aker Solutions Secure Contract from Hafslund Celsio

SLB reported that SLB Capturi, in collaboration with Aker Solutions, has been awarded an engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) contract from Hafslund Celsio AS to deliver a carbon capture solution at its waste-to-energy facility in Klemetsrud, Oslo.
According to a release, Hafslund Celsio is a Norway’s largest district heating supplier and the owner and operator of Norway’s largest waste-to-energy plant. Hafslund Celsio’s carbon capture project is part of Longship, the Norwegian Government’s full value-chain CCS project.
The contract award includes delivery of a carbon capture plant, liquefaction system, temporary storage, and a loading facility at the waste incineration site. It also includes an intermediate CO2 storage and ship loading system at Oslo harbor, from where the CO2 will be transported to the Northern Lights permanent storage facility on the Norwegian continental shelf. When operational, the carbon capture plant is expected to capture 350,000 metric tons of CO2 annually.
