Allseas社は、オランダの先駆的沖合CCS事業であり、欧州連合（EU）内での大規模展開は初となるポルトス（Porthos）プロジェクトのため、20キロメートル（12.4マイル）に及ぶ海底CO2パイプラインの敷設を完了した。
ポルトス・プロジェクトは、オランダ・ロッテルダム港（Port of Rotterdam）の産業施設から排出されるCO2を、沖合約20キロメートル（12.4マイル）にある北海下の枯渇したガス貯留層に輸送することになる。輸送されたCO2は、海底下3キロメートル（1.9マイル）以上の地点に圧入され、恒久的に貯留される。
沖合担当元請業者のAllseas社は、マースフラクテ（Maasvlakte）における将来的な圧縮所とTAQA社が運営するP18-Aプラットフォームを結ぶ海底パイプラインの完全な設置、埋設及び試運転を担当した。

Allseas has finished laying a 20-kilometer (12.4-mile) subsea CO2 pipeline for Porthos, the Netherlands’ pioneering offshore CCS project and the first of its kind at large scale within the European Union (EU).
The Porthos project will channel carbon dioxide emissions from industrial facilities in the Port of Rotterdam to depleted gas reservoirs beneath the North Sea, around 20 kilometers offshore (12.4 miles). Once transported, the CO2 will be injected and stored permanently more than 3 kilometers (1.9 miles) below the seabed.
As the lead offshore contractor, Allseas was responsible for the full installation, burial, and commissioning of the subsea pipeline, linking a future compressor station at the Maasvlakte with the P18-A platform operated by TAQA.
