カナダ、投資準備完了プロジェクトの促進に向けて新たなCCUS 基本設計（FEED）資金提供公募を開始

カナダは、CCUSプロジェクトを後期開発段階から最終投資決定へと促進するため、新たな資金提供機会を開設した。
これまでのCCUS資金提供ラウンドに基づき、カナダ・エネルギー研究開発局（Office of Energy Research and Development）は専用の基本設計（Front-End Engineering and Design：FEED）提案公募を開始した。
同プログラムは、既に技術的実現可能性が実証された先進的CCUSプロジェクトを支援する仕組みであり、投資準備完了段階に至るために必要な複雑かつ資本集約的な設計作業をプロジェクト提案者が完了するのを助けるものである。
上記公募はFEED調査を対象とすることで、大規模CCUSプロジェクトのボトルネックとして頻繁に挙げられる、実証段階と商業展開の間の重大なギャップを埋めることを目指す。
個々のプロジェクト推進に加え、本公募では知識共有を強く重視している。

Canada has opened a new funding opportunity aimed at accelerating CCUS projects from late-stage development toward final investment decisions.
Building on earlier CCUS funding rounds, the Office of Energy Research and Development has launched a dedicated Front-End Engineering and Design (FEED) call for proposals.
The program is designed to support advanced CCUS projects that have already demonstrated technical feasibility, helping proponents complete the complex and capital-intensive engineering work required to reach investment readiness.
By targeting FEED studies, the call seeks to bridge a critical gap between demonstration and commercial deployment, often cited as a bottleneck for large-scale CCUS projects.
In addition to advancing individual projects, the call places a strong emphasis on knowledge sharing.
