OneSubsea社及び東洋エンジニアリング株式会社、東南アジアにおけるCCS機会の検討へ

東洋エンジニアリング株式会社（以下、「TOYO」）と、2023年にSLB社、Aker Solutions社及びSubsea7社が設立した合弁会社OneSubsea社が、CCSにおける協業機会の検討を目的として覚書（MoU）を締結した。
上記提携会社は、初期段階において、日本及び東南アジアにおける多様な海底CCSプロジェクトの機会を検討し、海底におけるCO2の輸送・圧入・貯留に関連する技術的課題に取り組む予定である。
この協業は、回収・輸送・貯留の各インターフェースにわたるシステム統合や、陸上施設の設計・エンジニアリング等、CCSプロジェクトの開発及びエンジニアリングの最適化におけるTOYOの経験と、海底生産・処理システムを含む海底技術におけるOneSubsea社の経験を結集することになる。

Japan’s Toyo Engineering Corporation and OneSubsea, a joint venture established in 2023 by SLB, Aker Solutions, and Subsea7, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to explore collaboration opportunities in CCS.
Initially, the partners plan to explore opportunities across a range of subsea CCS projects in Japan and Southeast Asia to address technical challenges associated with subsea CO2 transport, injection and storage.
The collaboration will see the combination of TOYO’s experience in optimizing CCS project development and engineering, including system integration across capture, transportation, and storage interfaces, as well as the design and engineering of onshore facilities, and OneSubsea‘s experience in subsea technologies, including subsea production and processing systems.
