PT Pertamina Drilling Services Indonesia社（PDSI社）は、インドネシア西ジャワ（West Java）州のJatibarang油田における初の注水性試験を完了し、同国営エネルギー会社の上流事業全体におけるCCSプロジェクトの準備に向けて前進した。
試験は7月14日、PT Pertamina EP社地域2第7区域（Regional 2 Zone 7）統括部門が運営するJatibarang油田のJTB-156井で実施されたとPDSI社は声明の中で述べた。
同プロジェクトは、親会社であるPT Pertamina社、上流部門のPT Pertamina Hulu Energi社（PHE社）、Pertamina EP社地域2第7区域統括部門及びPDSI社が協力し、将来的なCO2圧入に向けた貯留層の適性を評価するものである。
PDSI社事業開発担当副社長（Vice President of Business Development）であるDedi Damhuri氏によると、同社は、Pertaminaグループ内におけるカーボンマネジメント・プロジェクトに工学的及び技術的サービスを提供する「CCS／CCUS統合エンジニアリング・監督・サービス（Integrated CCS/CCUS Engineering, Supervisory & Services：ICESS）」イニシアティブを通じて、CCS及びCCUSプロジェクトに対する支援を拡大しているという。

PT Pertamina Drilling Services Indonesia (PDSI) has completed its first water injectivity test at the Jatibarang oil field in West Java, marking a step toward preparing CCS projects across the state energy company’s upstream operations.
The test was carried out on July 14 at the JTB-156 well in the Jatibarang field, operated by PT Pertamina EP Regional 2 Zone 7, PDSI said in a statement.
The project involved collaboration among parent company PT Pertamina, upstream unit PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE), Pertamina EP Regional 2 Zone 7 and PDSI to evaluate reservoir suitability for future carbon dioxide injection.
PDSI Vice President of Business Development Dedi Damhuri said the company is expanding its support for CCS and CCUS projects through its Integrated CCS/CCUS Engineering, Supervisory & Services (ICESS) initiative, which provides engineering and technical services for carbon management projects within the Pertamina Group.
