Saipem社は、フィンランドのタンペレ・パワーツーガス（Tampere Power-to-Gas）プロジェクトにおけるCO₂回収装置向けに、同社のBluenzyme^TM 200ソリューションの設計・調達・製造（Engineering, Procurement and Fabrication：EPF）契約をRen-Gas社から受注した。

同契約の下、Saipem社は同社独自のCO₂ソリューション技術及び実用化されたBluenzyme^TM 200ソリューションに基づく、初のフルスケールCO₂回収装置を納入する。契約範囲には、設計、調達及び製造活動に加え、設置、試運転、稼働開始及び性能試験におけるアドバイザリー・サービスが含まれる。

上記CO₂回収装置は、フィンランド・タンペレにあるRen-Gas社のe-メタン製造施設に統合される予定であり、同施設では年間約200GWhの再生可能合成燃料、またはe-メタンが製造される見込みである。この燃料は、既存のガス・インフラを通じて、ドイツの大型道路輸送向けに供給されることとなる。本契約は、Ren-Gas社がタンペレe-メタン・プロジェクトに対する最終投資決定（FID）を下した時点で有効となる。

Saipem awarded carbon capture contract for Ren-Gas’ Tampere e-methane project in Finland for its Bluenzyme™ 200 solution

Saipem has been awarded by Ren-Gas a contract for the Engineering, Procurement and Fabrication (EPF) of its Bluenzyme™ 200 solution, for the carbon capture unit for the Tampere Power-to-Gas project in Finland.

Under the contract, Saipem will deliver the first full scale carbon capture unit based on its proprietary CO₂ Solutions technology by Saipem and industrialized Bluenzyme™ 200 solution. The scope includes engineering, procurement and fabrication activities, as well as advisory services during installation, commissioning, start-up and performance testing.

The carbon capture unit will be integrated into Ren-Gas’ e-methane production facility in Tampere, which is expected to produce approximately 200 GWh per year of renewable synthetic fuel, or e-methane. The fuel will be distributed through existing gas infrastructure for heavy-duty road transport in Germany. The contract will become effective upon Ren-Gas’ final investment decision (FID) for the Tampere e-methane project.
