オランダにおける5つの主要CO₂インフラ・プロジェクトが、北西ヨーロッパで形成されつつある国境を越えたCCSネットワークの中心にオランダを位置付けている。

Porthos、Aramis、CO₂next、Delta Rhine Corridor及びDelta Schelde CO₂nnectionによるコンソーシアムは、コネクティング・ヨーロッパ・ファシリティ（CEFエネルギー）を通じて複数の助成金を確保しており、2025年12月2～3日に開催されるPCI Energy Daysで進捗を発表する。

これらのイニシアティブは、合計で年間最大3,500万トンのCO₂を輸送し、域内全体の産業排出源とオランダ領北海の恒久的な地中貯留地をつなぐことができる。この規模は、2030年までに年間5,000万トンの圧入能力を目指すEUネットゼロ産業法（EU Net Zero Industry Act）に大きく貢献するだろう。

この5つのプロジェクトは、産業クラスター・港湾・沖合貯留サイトを、国境を越えて接続するように設計された統合ネットワークとして機能する。いくつかの主要コリドーは、以下の通り既に前進している。

• Delta Rhine Corridorは、オランダ・ロッテルダム（Rotterdam）をドイツの産業ハブと接続するため、4,700万ユーロを受け取っている。
• Delta Schelde CO₂nnectionは、2,200万ユーロの支援を受けて、ロッテルダムとベルギー・アントワープ（Antwerp）を接続し、ベネルクス－EU CCS統合を強化する。
• CO₂nextは、ロッテルダム港に液化CO₂輸入・貯留・中継ターミナルを開発するため、3,300万ユーロを確保した。
• Aramisは、北西ヨーロッパ全体の排出削減が困難な産業のためのCCUSインフラを建設するため、1億2,400万ユーロを付与された。
• オランダの旗艦CCSプロジェクトであるPorthosは、建設作業に1億200万ユーロ以上、調査に650万ユーロを受け取った。

Dutch CCS Quintet Advances Major Cross-Border CO₂ Network

Five major Dutch CO₂ infrastructure projects are positioning the Netherlands at the center of Northwest Europe’s emerging cross-border CCS network.

The consortium, Porthos, Aramis, CO₂next, Delta Rhine Corridor, and Delta Schelde CO₂nnection, has secured multiple Connecting Europe Facility (CEF Energy) grants and will showcase progress at PCI Energy Days on December 2-3, 2025.

Together, these initiatives could transport up to 35 million tons of CO₂ per year, linking industrial emitters across the region with permanent geological storage in the Dutch North Sea. This scale would significantly contribute to the EU’s Net Zero Industry Act target of 50 million tons of annual injection capacity by 2030.

The five projects function as an integrated network designed to connect industrial clusters, ports, and offshore storage sites across borders. Several key corridors are already moving forward:

• Delta Rhine Corridor received €47 million to connect Rotterdam with industrial hubs in Germany.
• Delta Schelde CO₂nnection, supported with €22 million, will link Rotterdam and Antwerp, strengthening Benelux-EU CCS integration.
• CO₂next secured €33 million to develop a liquid CO₂ import, storage, and transit terminal in the Port of Rotterdam.
• Aramis was awarded €124 million to build CCUS infrastructure serving hard-to-abate industries across Northwest Europe.
• Porthos, the Netherlands’ flagship CCS project, received more than €102 million for construction works and €6.5 million for studies.
