デンマーク・エネルギー庁（Danish Energy Agency）は、デンマークのイネズ（Inez）、リサ（Lisa）及びヤンマーブクト（Jammerbugt）の沿岸部沖でCO₂地中貯留の可能性を調査したい企業から2件の申請を受理した。

デンマーク・エネルギー庁は2025年1月9日、デンマークの特定沿岸地域におけるCO₂地中貯留のための地下探査及び利用に関する許可申請の受付を開始した。同庁は3月6日の申請締め切り時点で2件の申請を受理した。

3つの沿岸地域におけるCO₂地中貯留のための下層土探査及び利用に関する許可申請は、次の企業から提出された。

• CarbonCuts社
• TotalEnergies EP Danmark社及び三井物産株式会社

Two companies apply to store CO₂ offshore Denmark

The Danish Energy Agency has received two applications from companies that want to investigate the possibility of storing CO₂ in the subsurface in the coastal areas of Inez, Lisa and Jammerbugt at sea.

On 9 January 2025 the Danish Energy Agency opened for applications for permits for exploration and use of the subsurface for geological storage of CO₂ in certain coastal areas of Denmark. At the application deadline on 6 March the Danish Energy Agency has received two applications.

The applications for permits for exploration and use of the subsoil for geological storage of CO₂ in the three coastal areas have come from the companies:

• CarbonCuts A/S
• TotalEnergies EP Danmark A/S and Mitsui & Co. Ltd.
