OQGN社、Oxy Oman社と提携し、イブリ（Ibri）発電所でのCO2回収を目指す

オマーンのガス輸送インフラを運営する国営持株企業のOQ Gas Networks社（OQGN社）は、Occidental（Oxy）Oman社と協力して優先的にCO2回収を実施するサイトとして、ザーヒラ行政区（Al Dhahirah Governorate）にある1,509 MW規模イブリ（Ibri）発電所を特定した。
この動きは、同国のネットゼロ2050（Net Zero 2050）目標の重要な柱としてCCUSと水素輸送の統合を図るOQGN社の戦略を前進させるものである。
OQGN社の2025年第2四半期財務報告書によると、同社は、オマーンで水素輸送インフラを共同開発するため、ベルギーのエネルギー・インフラ・グループであるFluxys社と協力契約を締結している。
OQGN社の株式の4.9％を保有するFluxys社はまた、CO2回収インフラ・プロジェクトでも同社と協力している。

OQ Gas Networks (OQGN), the majority state-owned operator of Oman’s gas transportation infrastructure, has identified the 1,509 MW Ibri Power Plant in Al Dhahirah Governorate as a priority site for carbon capture in collaboration with Occidental (Oxy) Oman.
The move advances OQGN’s strategy to integrate CCUS and hydrogen transport as key pillars of the Sultanate’s Net Zero 2050 ambitions.
According to OQGN’s Q2 2025 financial report, the company has signed a cooperation agreement with Belgian energy infrastructure group Fluxys to jointly develop hydrogen transportation infrastructure in Oman.
Fluxys, which holds a 4.9% equity stake in OQGN, is also working with the company on carbon capture infrastructure projects.
