VerraのCCS方法論及びそれに付随するモジュールは、自主的炭素市場のための十全性評議会（Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market：ICVCM）により、コア・カーボン原則（Core Carbon Principles：CCPs）に準拠していると承認され、この方法論に基づいて創出されたクレジットが最高水準の十全性を備えていることを示す、明確な市場シグナルとなった。

今回の更新により、Verraの拡大を続けるCCP承認方法論のポートフォリオに重要な技術ベース手法が追加された。

検証済み炭素基準（Verified Carbon Standard：VCS）方法論「VM0049 Carbon Capture and Storage, v1.0」は、CO₂を回収し、恒久的に貯留するプロジェクトによる温室効果ガス排出削減量及びCO₂除去を定量化するための基準及び手続を定めている。

Verra’s CCS methodology and its accompanying modules have been approved by the Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market (ICVCM) as meeting the Core Carbon Principles (CCPs), a clear market signal that credits generated under this methodology are of the highest integrity.

This update adds a major technology-based approach to Verra’s growing portfolio of CCP-approved methodologies.

The Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) methodology VM0049 Carbon Capture and Storage, v1.0 establishes criteria and procedures for quantifying greenhouse gas emission reductions and carbon dioxide removals from projects that capture CO₂ and store it permanently.
