ABL社、Northern Lights業務を獲得

オスロ証券取引所に上場する世界的なコンサルティング会社ABL Groupが、ノルウェーで実施されているLongshipフルスケールCCSプロジェクトの一環であるNorthern Lightsの第2段階における業務に採用された。
ABL社は、ノルウェー国有企業Gassnova社の基本設計条項に基づく、年間CO2輸送・貯留量150万トンのNorthern Lights Phase 2プロジェクトにMarine Warranty Survey（MWS）業務を提供するためにEquinor社と契約を締結したことを発表した際、ノルウェー・スタヴァンゲル（Stavanger）を拠点とする同社ノルウェー事業部が、CO2輸送・貯留拡張工事を支援するため、現場立ち合いと海洋調査を含む海洋検証・保証業務を提供すると説明している。
同社はまた、保証された事業のために全てのプロジェクト文書及び手順書の技術文書レビュー及び承認も行う。契約条件に基づき、ABL社ノルウェー事業部は、2026年初頭に作業範囲に取り掛かり、2027年まで作業を継続する予定である。

Oslo-listed global consultancy ABL Group has been hired for work on the second phase of Northern Lights, part of the Longship full-scale CCS project in Norway.
While announcing a contract with Equinor to provide marine warranty survey (MWS) services to the Northern Lights Phase 2 project, which is based on Gassnova SFs design basis with transport and storage of an annual volume of 1.5 Mt/y CO2, ABL explains that its Norway operations, based in Stavanger, will provide marine verification and warranty services with site attendances and marine surveys to support the construction of the CO2 transport and storage expansion.
The company will also deliver technical document review and approval of all project and procedural documentation for warranted operations. Under the terms of the contract, ABLs Norwegian operation will begin its work scope in early 2026, with the work set to continue through to 2027.
