英国ティーズサイド（Teesside）の企業、同国の主要な東海岸クラスター（East Coast Cluster）CCSプロジェクトの契約を獲得

英国ティーズサイド（Teesside）に本社を置く配管・機械据付企業が、同国東海岸クラスター（East Coast Cluster）の重要な下請け契約を確保した。
東海岸クラスターは、NZT Power及びNorthern Endurance Partnershipを連携させるものであり、英国政府が選定した最初の2つのCCSクラスターの1つにおいて作業が本格化している。
英国エネルギー安全保障・ネットゼロ省（Department for Energy Security and Net Zero）のエネルギー担当閣外大臣（minister for energy）であるMichael Shanks下院議員が、Cavendish Northern Limited社に上記契約を授与した。
Technip Energies社が発注した同配管プレハブ加工契約により、英国ビリンガム（Billingham）にあるCavendish社の施設で重要な作業が実施されることとなり、同拠点で60人以上の新規雇用が創出される見込みである。
新規雇用される職種は、溶接工、板金工、配管工、検査員、品質保証担当者、管理職等、幅広いスキルや専門分野に及ぶ。
Cavendish社は既に7人の見習い工を雇用しており、最近更に3人を採用したが、上記契約により若者向けの更なる雇用機会が創出されることを期待している。

A Teesside-headquartered pipework and mechanical installation company has secured a significant East Coast Cluster subcontract.
The East Coast Cluster brings together NZT Power and the Northern Endurance Partnership, with work ramping up across one of the UK government’s first two CCS clusters.
Michael Shanks MP, minister for energy in the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, has awarded the contract to Cavendish Northern Limited.
The piping prefabrication contract, which has been awarded by Technip Energies, will see vital work being carried out at Cavendish’s facility in Billingham and is expected to create more than 60 new roles at the site.
The new positions span a range of skills and disciplines – including welders, platers, pipefitters, inspectors, quality assurance professionals, and management staff.
Cavendish, which already employs seven apprentices and recently recruited three more, expect further opportunities to be created for young people as a result of the contract.
