Enova’s strengthened CCUS funding aims to bring small and medium-sized companies into the emerging CO₂ value chain opening new opportunities for innovation, technology development and industrial collaboration.

With Northern Lights becoming operational, Norway is entering a new phase for carbon capture and storage. The Norwegian Government and Enova are now taking the next step in building a Norwegian CCUS industry.

Following the establishment of large-scale infrastructure projects such as Northern Lights, the focus is increasingly shifting towards developing a broader supplier industry and involving small and medium-sized companies across the CO₂ value chain.
