Rosetti Marino社、Eni社プロジェクト向けの4基のプラットフォームのうち第1基の建設を完了
英国初のCCS専用プラットフォームは、Eni社のリバプール湾CO2輸送・貯留（CO2 T&S）プロジェクトの実施地であるイングランド北西沖に向けて、イタリア・ピオンビーノ（Piombino）港を出発した。
Douglas CCSプラットフォームは、イングランド北西部（Northwest England）及び北ウェールズ（North Wales）の排出削減が困難な産業部門から回収されたCO2を、恒久的に貯留するために枯渇したガス田に圧入するプロジェクト向けの沖合ハブとして機能する。この開発は、HyNet産業クラスターの基幹を成すものである。
Rosseti Marino社は、受注から18か月足らずでこの3460トン規模プラットフォームの建設を完了した。Rosetti社は、サイト・オペレーターであるPiombino Industrie Marittime社と共に、ピオンビーノにある専用施設で組み立て作業を行った。

Rosetti Marino has completed first of four platforms for Eni project
The UK’s first dedicated CCS platform has left Italy’s Piombino port bound for the waters off northwest England, the site of Eni’s Liverpool Bay carbon dioxide transportation and storage (CO2 T&S) project.
The Douglas CCS platform will serve as the offshore hub for a project that will inject CO2 captured from hard-to-abate industrial emissions in Northwest England and North Wales into depleted gas fields for permanent storage. This development forms the backbone of the HyNet industrial cluster.
Rosseti Marino completed fabrication of the 3460-tonne platform less than 18 months after contract award. Rosetti carried out assembly at a dedicated facility in Piombino, working with site operator Piombino Industrie Marittime.
