カナダ・アルバータ州政府は、同州の農村地域における4件の商業規模クリーン技術プロジェクトを推進するため、技術革新・排出削減（Technology Innovation and Emissions Reduction：TIER）基金から2,000万ドルを拠出した。
アルバータ州排出削減機関（Emissions Reduction Alberta：ERA）が運営するこの資金支援パッケージは、地域の産業競争力を強化しつつ、カーボンフットプリントを削減することを目的とした技術の実地試験、規模拡大及び商用展開を支援するものである。
資金提供を受けた4件のイニシアティブにより、2030年までに合計で約600人の地域雇用が創出され、年間約1,400トンの温室効果ガス排出量が削減される見込みである。

The Government of Alberta has committed $20 million from its Technology Innovation and Emissions Reduction (TIER) fund to advance four commercial-scale clean technology projects across rural parts of the province.
Administered by Emissions Reduction Alberta (ERA), the funding package supports field testing, scaling, and commercial deployment of technologies designed to strengthen local industry competitiveness while lowering carbon footprints.
In total, the four funded initiatives are projected to create nearly 600 local jobs and eliminate approximately 1,400 tons of annual greenhouse gas emissions by 2030.
