カナダ・アルバータ州に拠点を置く非営利団体Energi Simulationが主催する年次国際会議「Energi Simulation Summit 2026」が、11月17日から19日まで、ウェスティンホテル東京において、対面とオンラインのハイブリッド形式で開催されます。Energi Simulationは、エネルギー資源モデリング分野における大学の先端研究や大学院生を対象とした研究支援を行っています。11月17日および18日には、貯留層シミュレーション、地盤力学、地熱、デジタル技術、CCUSなどをテーマに、世界各国の研究者による最新の研究成果が紹介されます。
グローバルCCSインスティテュートは、本サミットの最終日となる11月19日に、Energi Simulationとの共催により「CCUS Workshop」を開催します。同ワークショップでは、日本の主要企業・関係機関の専門家を迎え、国内外におけるCCUSの取組や最新技術について知見を共有します。

The Energi Simulation Summit 2026, an annual international conference organised by Energi Simulation, a non-profit organisation based in Alberta, Canada, will be held from 17 to 19 November 2026 at The Westin Tokyo, in a hybrid format combining in-person and online participation.
Energi Simulation supports advanced university research and graduate students in the field of energy resource modelling. On 17 and 18 November, researchers from around the world will present their latest work across a range of topics, including reservoir simulation, geomechanics, geothermal energy, digital technologies and CCUS.
On the final day of the Summit, 19 November, the Global CCS Institute and Energi Simulation will jointly host the “CCUS Workshop”. The workshop will bring together experts from leading Japanese companies and organisations to share insights into CCUS initiatives and the latest technologies in Japan and internationally.
We warmly welcome your participation in the CCUS Workshop. Participants are also welcome to attend the main Summit sessions on 17 and 18 November, and we encourage you to consider joining these sessions as well.
