グローバルCCSインスティテュートでは、本年度、在日カナダ大使館と複数の活動において連携させていただいております。
このたび、その一環として、在日カナダ大使館より下記会合のご案内をいただきましたので、インスティテュート日本会員の皆様へご案内申し上げます。
また、本会合に加え、グローバルCCSインスティテュートと在日カナダ大使館の共催により、2026年9月8日（火） に 「カナダ・日本 CCUS パートナーシップフォーラム・懇親会」 を、在日カナダ大使館（東京都港区赤坂7-3-38）にて開催する予定です。詳細が整い次第、改めてご案内申し上げますので、ぜひご予定いただけますと幸いです。

『Carbon Capture Canada 2026』（於カナダ・エドモントン市）開催のご案内
カナダは世界有数のCCUS（Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage：二酸化炭素回収・利用・貯留）先進国として、豊富な地質資源、整備されたインフラ、政府による支援制度を背景に、大規模なCCUSプロジェクトの開発・商業化を推進しています。特にアルバータ州は、世界有数のCCUSハブとして注目を集めており、多くの関連企業、研究機関が集積しています。
この度、2026年9月14日～17日にカナダ・アルバータ州エドモントン市にて、『Carbon Capture Canada（CCC）2026』が開催されます。本イベントは、二酸化炭素回収・利用・貯留（CCUS）分野におけるカナダ全国の最新技術、プロジェクト、イノベーションを紹介する、同分野を代表するカンファレンスおよび展示会です。
9月15日～16日の2日間はカンファレンス・展示会に加え、業界関係者とのビジネス商談会、前後の日程で関連施設の視察ツアーも予定されています。
カナダ連邦政府Trade Commissioner Service（TCS）はカナダ企業の輸出促進・技術紹介、日本企業のカナダへの投資を促進しており、会期中にCCUS分野のカナダ企業とのビジネスミーティングの調整や現地視察プログラムを実施する予定です。
本会合では、CCUS業界を代表するカナダ企業、技術プロバイダー、エネルギー関連企業、専門家、研究機関、政府関係者が一堂に会します。
カナダ企業との技術連携や最新動向の把握にご関心のある企業・団体の皆様におかれましては、ぜひご参加をご検討いただけますと幸いです。

This year, the Global CCS Institute has been collaborating with the Embassy of Canada to Japan on a number of initiatives.
As part of this collaboration, we are pleased to share the details of the event below, to which the Embassy of Canada has kindly invited Japan members of the Global CCS Institute.
In addition, the Global CCS Institute and the Embassy of Canada will co-host the Canada–Japan CCUS Partnership Forum and Networking Reception on Tuesday, 8 September 2026, at the Embassy of Canada to Japan (7-3-38 Akasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo).

Information on Carbon Capture Canada 2026 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
Canada is one of the world’s leading countries in the field of carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS). Supported by abundant geological resources, well-developed infrastructure, and robust government incentive programs, Canada is actively advancing the development and commercialization of large-scale CCUS projects. Alberta, in particular, has emerged as a globally recognized CCUS hub, attracting a significant concentration of companies, research institutions, and industry stakeholders.
Carbon Capture Canada (CCC) 2026 will take place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, from September 14 to 17, 2026. The conference and exhibition, to be held on September 15 and 16, is Canada’s premier event dedicated to the CCUS sector, showcasing the latest technologies, projects, and innovations from across the country.
In addition to the conference and exhibition, the event will offer business networking and matchmaking opportunities with industry stakeholders, as well as site tours of relevant facilities before and after the main conference program.
The Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) of the Government of Canada supports Canadian companies in expanding globally while also encouraging international investment in Canada. During the event, TCS will facilitate business meetings between Canadian CCUS companies and Japanese organizations, as well as organize site visit programs for international participants.
Carbon Capture Canada brings together leading Canadian CCUS companies, technology providers, energy companies, researchers, industry experts, and government representatives. We encourage organizations interested in exploring R&D partnerships with Canadian firms and gaining insights into the latest industry developments to consider attending.
