イタリアのEni社は火曜日（17日）、英国で開発中のCCSプロジェクトの1つにサービスを提供するための主要条件について、英国政府と合意に達したと発表した。

Eni社は英国のHynet North WestコンソーシアムのCO₂輸送・貯留オペレーターであり、同コンソーシアムは、英国で最もエネルギー集約的な産業地区の1つをCCSにより低炭素産業クラスターに転換することを目指している。

Italy’s Eni said on Tuesday it had reached an agreement with Britain’s government on the key terms and conditions for providing services in one of the CCS projects under development in the country.

Eni is the CO₂ transport and storage operator of the British HyNet North West consortium, which aims to transform one of Britain’s most energy intensive industrial districts into a low-carbon industrial cluster thanks to CCS.
